Energy Practice Associate DirectorPosition OverviewThe Energy Practice Associate Director will lead and manage our firms energy practice, focusing on providing exceptional advisory services related to energy tax credits and incentives. This role involves strategic planning, client relationship management, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations while driving business growth in the energy sector.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the energy practice, overseeing projects related to tax credits and incentives for clients in the energy sector.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the energy practice and enhance service offerings.
- Manage client relationships, providing expert advice on 179D and 45L tax credits and other energy-related incentives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines in the energy tax incentive space.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
- Stay updated on changes in legislation and industry trends to effectively advise clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax consulting, specifically in energy tax credits and incentives.
- Strong knowledge of 179D and 45L tax credits, along with other relevant energy incentives.
- Proven experience in managing client relationships and leading teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
