This position will meet with clients to discuss energy performance measures for their portfolios that best suit the client's needs and provide guidance during the development and implementation of the projects. The Department promotes responsible management of resources and protects the environment for the benefit of all Arkansans.Position InformationClass Code: G248CGrade: GS07FLSA Status: EXEMPTSalary Range: $40,340.00 - $64,343.00SummaryThe Energy Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating operational activities of the Arkansas Energy Office state and federal energy efficiency, renewable energy, and/or sustainable transportation programs. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.FunctionsSupervises a subordinate professional and administrative support staff by interviewing and recommending for hire, providing training opportunities, assigning and reviewing work and special projects, and evaluating the performance of incumbents. Develops programmatic requirements and budgets for requisite resources. Responsible for coordinating the internal operational budget for state and federally-funded energy programs. Develops performance measures which are stipulated in annual grant documentation. Develops standardized monitoring policies usable for providing sub-grantee oversight. Recommends program objectives and guidelines to the Director. Functions as liaison between the United States Department of Energy and the Arkansas Energy Office.
