JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to assist our large energy client's outage team. This role will be responsible for managing 5-10 projects simultaneously, with budgets ranging from $100K to $5M. This includes overseeing the complete project lifecycle, from development to execution, across four power plants located within a 45-minute radius of Greensboro, NC. The ideal candidate for this role will have a general skill level in project management, with a focus on experience in power plants, particularly in managing outages.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple outage projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed outage plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to ensure successful outage execution.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
- Manage subcontractors.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the power plant industry and outage management.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
