We are committed to excellence and envision being the leading supplier of choice.The Energy Service Technician plays a critical role in delivering, installing, and maintaining energy systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations for residential, agricultural, and commercial customers. This position focuses on handling propane, fuel, and other energy-related products, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards while providing outstanding customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, service, and maintain energy systems, including propane tanks, fuel, and equipment.Conduct system inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to address customer needs and ensure system reliability.Follow all safety guidelines, industry regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.Perform routine safety checks on energy systems and equipment to ensure compliance with standards.Assist with safely delivering energy products, such as propane and fuel, to customer locations as needed.Monitor and manage product inventory and delivery schedules to meet customer demands efficiently.Interact professionally with customers, providing guidance on safe energy use and answering questions about products or services.Build positive relationships by delivering solutions tailored to individual customer needs.Operate specialized tools and equipment, including gauges, meters, and testing devices.Maintain and repair company vehicles, tanks, and other equipment as required.Work closely with other team members to support operations and meet service goals.Required Qualifications and SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or equivalent certification in energy systems or a related field preferred.Obtain a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with required endorsements (e.g., HazMat, Tanker) within six months of employment and maintain a clean driving record.Follow safety and compliance standards to help ensure their well-being and the safety of others.Knowledge of propane, fuel, and energy systems is an advantage.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Ability to work in various weather conditions, during peak seasons, and outside of normal hours throughout the year to meet deadlines and demands.Strong attention to detail, with a focus on safety and compliance.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as required for loading and unloading.The role involves physical labor, including lifting and moving heavy products.High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.Provide Exceptional Customer Service.Total Rewards PackageInsurance - Medical, Dental, and VisionFinancial & Savings - 401K Matching, Pension Company-Funded, FSA & HSAIncentive - In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible to receive commission and/or bonus payVoluntary and Miscellaneous Benefits - Accident, Air Evac, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Identity Theft Protection, Life, Short/Long-Term DisabilityVacation and More - Paid Time Off (PTO), Holiday Pay, Uniform Program, Discounts, Teamwork, Advancements/Service, Retirement RecognitionIssue Date: 01/01/2025
