Job Requisition ID: R-11456Reports to: Manager, Conservation and Load ManagementLocation: 60 Marsh Hill Rd, Orange, CTWork Type: OfficeThe base salary range for this position is dependent upon exercise and location, ranging from $92,185 to $115,232.JOB SUMMARY:This position, in the Conservation andLoad Management (CLM) group, with guidance from the Manager, Conservation and Load Management, coordinates initiatives for the development, implementation, reporting, and operations of the assigned CLM programs. The position will contribute towards meeting and exceeding assigned program energy savings goals and other objectives. This is accomplished through a comprehensive knowledge of customer needs, internal policies and procedures, programs and products this position supports, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.MAJOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The primary responsibility of this position is to support the assigned CLM programs within the Avangrid operating companies in CT. This is accomplished through:Reviewing program enrollment activity, including customer and vendor program application reviews, technical project reviews, and cross-program referrals.Providing customers with a comprehensive overview of the program offerings, available incentives, financing options, and energy savings information.Timely and accurate follow-up on all customer inquiries.Developing and providing savings estimates and contracts for customers.Performing quality assurance and technical review on program and product activity, ensuring compliance with minimum standards, program rules, and contract specifications. Initiates and performs file reviews, on-site inspections, and tracking system updates that include both project-specific updates and systematic updates to adjust for changing business needs; testing and signing off on system changes.Providing excellent customer service throughout all phases of customer or prospective customer participation in programs and products with a comprehensive knowledge of energy technologies and equipment, utility rates, tariffs, policies, and financing/incentive programs.Collaborating with key internal departments such as Engineering, Operations, Sales, and Conservation and Load Management on a regular basis. Responsible for identifying and implementing initiatives to optimize efficiency by employing a continuous process improvement methodology to reduce costs and increase revenue. Supports departmental financial activities through the development and monitoring of budget reports, creating and tracking purchase requisitions/orders, and invoices.Applying knowledge and skills to resolve a wide range of complex issues associated with program or product inquiries from customers, regulators, or vendors.Developing and maintaining relationships with lead sources such as engineers, builders, developers, realtors, trade allies, etc., to identify opportunities resulting in incremental energy consumption and revenue growth.Assuming a primary role in special assignments as directed by management to support the overall initiatives and goals of the organization.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's Degree with 1 - 3 years of sales, marketing, energy efficiency, or customer service experience.Associate's Degree with 5 years of sales, marketing, energy efficiency, or customer service experience OR a minimum of two years of utility energy efficiency programs experience.Knowledge in the areas of utility-related electric and gas technologies and end-use customer equipment is required (i.e., utility and consumer lighting, HVAC equipment, distributed generation, etc.).Knowledge of natural gas and/or electric utility (structure, market, department responsibilities, etc.) as well as tariffs and rates is preferred.Advanced sales training is preferred.Skills/Abilities:Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks while providing excellent customer service.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills.Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, sales platform, etc.).Attention to detail and proven analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to maximize effectiveness by using time management, territory management, prioritization of work, and effective utilization of all resources.Strong cross-functional team skills and a desire to serve co-workers.Ability to occasionally work evening and weekend hours.Ability to travel.#J-18808-Ljbffr
