Engage NJ Fundraising VISTA Leader

Engage NJ sponsors the largest higher education VISTA program in New Jersey, called ENGAGECorps. ENGAGECorps VISTA Program aims to get students to and through college successfully, in particular, those from disadvantaged backgrounds. There are four main VISTA cohorts that will focus on the following impact areas - #1) build the capacity of high school tutoring and mentoring programs, #2) develop 21st century workplace skills and a statewide student success network, #3) expand the network of campus-based community centers that tackle food and housing insecurity, mental health, provide professional attire, and other student challenges, and #4) build the capacity for environmental stewardship and builds knowledge about climate change. Member Duties : Regularly collect and evaluate data on performance measures across the ENGAGECorps program; develop and implement a streamlined communications plan program wide- internally and externally- for various stakeholders; contribute to member development activities such as planning and co-hosting workshops both virtually and in-person; with direction from the Program Manager - support the implementation and roll out of a sustainable fundraising & resource development plan for ENGAGECorps' focus/ project areas and its measurable community impact in order to scale up the corps; help VISTA members close out their service term by facilitating the submission of future plan forms, exit documentation, collecting/reviewing site sustainability plans by VISTAs, gathering final performance measures reports, assisting continuing members, and co-plan/host end-of-term activities.
