DescriptionWe are seeking an Event Services Manager for a short-term contract employment opportunity in the hotels industry located in San Francisco, California. The role primarily involves providing professional service to clients, organizing convention logistics, managing billing processes, andadhering to departmental policies.Responsibilities:- Deliver professional and engaging service to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and encouraging repeat business.- Organize convention logistics, such as arranging meeting and guest room requirements, to ensure smooth execution of events.- Confirm event details and maintain rapport with clients, fostering long-term relationships and repeat business.- Develop event floor plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring their requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.- Manage billing processes, including ensuring timely receipt of deposits, to maintain financial accuracy and integrity.- Conduct pre-conference meetings to communicate essential details to all involved parties, ensuring everyone is informed and prepared.- Attend daily meetings to review contracts and address last-minute changes, ensuring all agreements are honored and any adjustments are accommodated.- Adhere to departmental policies and safety protocols, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.- Perform additional assigned duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the role.- Utilize skills in Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Content Management System (CMS), CRM, Facebook Insights, Advertisements, Analytics, Auditing, Brand Awareness, and Campaign Planning to execute job responsibilities effectively.Requirements- Prior hotel events experience preferred- Proficiency in Cloud Technologies is required- Experience with Content Management System (CMS) is essential- Must have a working knowledge of CRM- Familiarity with Facebook Insights is required- Event management experience from start to finish- Strong skills in Analytics are necessary- Previous experience in Auditing is needed- Must possess knowledge and understanding of scheduling events- Experience in Campaign Planning is essentialRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
