To save time applying, Toyota does not offer sponsorship of job applicants for employment-based visas or any other work authorization for this position at this time.What we're looking for Toyota's Assembly Engineering Team is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Process/Production Engineer.The primary responsibility of this role is to:Support Assembly Quality and Manufacturing Systems.Daily occurring issues involving safety, quality, and productivity.Improvement and change point projects.Cost and efficiency projects.What you'll be doing Lead cross functional teams consisting of production, safety, conveyance, maintenance, inspection, and quality engineering.Provide technical assistance to production to support process improvement activity.Provide tools/knowledge and act as a check group to assure all activity meets TMMI's safety standards as well as OSHA requirements.Applicant must be capable of gathering detailed data quickly to make decisions daily that can affect the quality of the vehicle.Applicant must be capable of utilizing engineering principles to resolve day to day concerns.Applicant must possess good communication skills for conversing with all levels at TMMI.What you bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (ME, EE, MET, EET, BSEE, BSET, BSMET preferred) or 5 years of experience in maintenance with a Team Leader/Supervisor titleExperience in leading cross functional teams for safety, quality, and productivity improvementsExperience providing technical assistance to production to support process improvement activitiesExperience leading or managing technical projectsExperience with OSHA and ANSI requirementsAdded bonus if you have Previous automotive manufacturing experience in an engineering position.Strong Project Management ExperienceAssembly PE or Quality Engineering Experience, including Contract Engineer.Autodesk Suites CAD ProficiencyExperience with Torque and tightening management and analytics experienceExperience with Web Development, Power Apps, or Power BI developmentWhat we'll bringDuring your interview process, our team can fill you in on all the details of our industry-leading benefits and career development opportunities.
