Learn more at www.samsung.com/us/sas.Roles and Responsibilities:Work with a team of system engineers to solve complex problems through outside of the box thinking to produce data in a reliable and usable format. Leverage terabytes of machine log data to produce value with the data. Transform the System Reliability Engineering group's key data technology Splunk into a scalable solution providing data for additional manufacturing lines and systems. Increase reliability and performance of system infrastructure components through the collection and analysis of data. Utilize our core machine and database log tool Splunk to create dashboards, sensors, and data models. Manage the Splunk infrastructure by controlling access, creating and maintaining indexes, and making data widely available to engineers in the Production and Systems group. Model datasets using machine learning techniques to uncover and predict system failures. Leverage Splunk's built in machine learning capabilities to detect anomalous behavior in system and network components. Work with multiple stakeholders to ingest, transform, and produce datasets as a deliverable for the stakeholder. Collate data from disjunct data sources using Splunk ITSI functions to assist in root cause analysis and identify causal events. Create and refine actionable alarms, which detect abnormal system behavior and notify key stakeholders.
