PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Layout and design assigned tasks within a major project. Provide all required calculations and documentation for any checked and/or approved design. Verify and check drawings and layouts. Give direction to designers and drafters. Communicate technical principles and equipment operation to other departments (i.e., operations, sales, parts, and to customer). Support sales activity with technical information on control capabilities and equipment. Support parts operation by generating substitutions and/or improved systems when required with economic limits. Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field. 5-7 years of experience with mechanical systems and hydraulics. Proficiency with Solidworks and MathCad. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel for data analysis and/or familiarity with other analysis tools. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and engage with diverse groups of personnel. Analytical skills and interpret data to drive decision-making. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
