As the Manufacturing & Design Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for the following: Ensure a smooth manufacturing launch of the Fluence Battery Module and System by supporting both the module engineering and manufacturing teams by troubleshooting issues arising during assembly Review and develop root-cause analysis for issues during module manufacturing launch Ensure corrective actions are implemented quickly with both the engineering and manufacturing teams. Create and maintain lessons learned and best practices Define and implement critical characteristic checks and tests through DFMEA Provide on site support and root cause investigation at the assembly site, travel up to 50% during launch. Identify opportunities to improve processes and working with teams to implement them Lead issue tracking discussions and mentor team members to a resolution Provide technical leadership of complex projects, acting as primary consultant on projects that affect the Group's long term goals and objectives. Ensures technical direction of projects is consistent across the Group. Formally mentor lower level staff. Lead complex, often unique, engineering work on multiple large projects of significant scope. Projects are often unusual or politically sensitive and require evaluation of intangibles. Projects affect the long-term goals and objectives of the Group. What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence? Knowledge of thermal and electrical components for electrical junction boxes and interconnect systems Experience with non-monte carlo and module stacks Experience releasing Module components. Experience with the correlation of CAE, development activities, and verification plans. Ability to direct teams on boundary conditions and accurate assumptions.
