A Snapshot of Your DayIn the role of Mechanical and Systems Engineer, you will be the mechanical lead for rotating machinery projects, working as a team member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team from sales handover through project execution, installation and commissioning, and warranty phases!How You'll Make an ImpactLead mechanical and systems technical scope for packaged rotating equipment projects (gas turbine generators, compressors, etc.) for onshore and offshore applications.Support Project Engineer in resolving technical issues with both internal teams and external clients.Ensure the highest engineering standards are upheld during the design and manufacture of mechanical systems.Troubleshoot and integrate gas turbine, compressor, and process systems with electrical and control systems, including lube oil, fuel gas, and seal gas.Advise drafting/design teams on crafting contract P&IDs, bills of materials, and part assemblies; support production through assembly instructions and redlining drawings.Manage Mechanical Engineering schedule and budget, ensuring timely release of specifications and documentation, and provide technical support through warranty and service handover.What You BringBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in an engineering-related field. Master's degree or equivalent experience is a plus.1 to 2 years of Mechanical Engineering experience. Advanced degree or equivalent experience may substitute for work experience.Rotating Equipment experience is a plus.Ability to travel up to 10% of the timeAbility to advise a small team and give general direction to othersExcellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel)Excellent written and oral communication skills.Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
