General Summary:

An Operations Manufacturing Engineer will provide Manufacturing and Industrial engineering processing and support for specified plant Manufacturing and Technologies Departments.

Essential Duties:

* Provide technical support to two plants for mold processing and improvement.

* Lead cost reduction projects for specified plant.

* Purchase capital equipment

* Ensure the efficient and high quality production of tool, tackle and commercial boxes.

* Assist in quoting new custom and proprietary business.

* Administer the ECR program, insuring proper documentation, approvals and action.

* Manage special projects from supervisor and manage/oversee subcontractors

* Support engineering department

* Other Engineering projects as directed by the Operations Managers.

* All other jobs assigned

Education/Certification Requirements:

* Applicant with a BS in plastics, ME or IE is desired. Candidates with equivalent combination of education, training, and experienced will be considered. PC literacy required. Master Molder or versed in Scientific Molding a plus.

Experience Requirements:

* 2+ years' experience in processing injection-molding tools. Based on experience, candidate should have the knowledge of and be capable of startup and fine tuning the injection mold process; familiar with PP, crystal styrene, HIPS, hot runner molds and more. Exposure to robotics applications or concepts, workstation layout and methods engineering.
