- MUST HAVE SOLIDWORKS EXPERIENCE
- Participate in initial conceptual development and carefully balance product specifications, process control requirements, component selection, control architecture, cost, limits.
- Design the system Power Distribution, control architecture and system field cabling/interconnect including Process and instrumentation.
- Design Power Distribution System using CAD system
- Design and development of harness deign.
- Responsible to manage and direct technicians to implement electrical works
- Define system interconnect/schematic and Key control/automation components.
- Coordinate with peers in other engineering groups to ensure that the design criteria are synchronized within all disciplines to meet the requirements.
- Work closely with project managers and electrical team members to ensure all expectations and specifications are translated into the final design.
- Organize and manage offsite engineers' deliverable to ensure meet regulatory, VEECO Standards and equipment specification.
- Execute, implement, and support VEECO Standards and Buy off process.
- Enforce application of VEECO standards, Manage suppliers during specification, design review, design approval.
- Handle the electrical system control and wiring harness development
- Problem solving on any electrical design problem, issue, and best practice solutions.
- Familiarity and hand on troubleshooting Power Distribution and wiring harness Design
- Design electrical control schematic including Cable ASM
- Interface with mechanical team/vendors to support Actuator/stage/motors selection.
