Our client in the engineering industry is seeking an Engineering Administrative Assistant to join their team. As an Engineering Administrative Assistant, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting various sub-departments. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong technical background, and the ability to effectively relay information to the Engineering Superintendent.
**Job Title:** Engineering Administrative Assistant
**Location:** Jacksonville, FL
**Pay Range:** $19/hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Act as a liaison between the engineering superintendent and the various engineering sub-departments including Technical, Project, Manufacturing, Program, Equipment, and Manpower Optimization.
+ Maintain a detailed schedule of all engineering projects in MS Project or similar scheduling software.
+ Compile and distribute regular status reports detailing the progress of ongoing engineering projects, highlighting achievements, challenges, and potential risks.
+ Facilitate regular meetings and discussions to ensure alignment on project objectives, milestones, and resource requirements.
+ Provide administrative support to the Engineering Superintendent as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, documenting meeting minutes, and other administrative tasks.
**What's Needed?**
+ Associates (Bachelors preferred) degree in Engineering, Project Management, or similar technical field
+ Working experience in industries is preferred but not required
+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
+ Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
+ Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills.
+ Proven ability to work effectively under pressure & meet deadlines.
+ Ability to communicate clearly in English. (Mandarin is a plus but not required)
+ Fast typing skills are strongly preferred (60WPM+)
