What You'll DoECS Limited is seeking an experienced engineering leader to manage our Savannah office. As the Engineering Branch Manager, you will oversee engineering projects, staff, business development, and day-to-day operations for the branch. We will consider candidates who are not local for this role. If you are qualified and interested, you are encouraged to apply as ECS is willing to offer a relocation package for the right candidate.Responsibilities* Personnel Development & Management:* Department Managers within the office will report directly to the Office Manager with indirect responsibility for everyone in the office.* Recruitment to build successful team.* Management and training of employees.* Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.* Aligning employee goals with office and corporate goals.* Managerial and administrative duties required for developing and growing an office.* Financial management, marketing, and business development:* Full responsibility for the profit/loss of the office, including all service lines.* Develop and manage the branch goals and budgets.* Technical Expertise:* Maintaining personal certifications and professional development.* Technical review and approval for reports within their scope of expertise.* Business Development:* Identify and pursue new business opportunities.* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.* Represent the company at industry events and conferences.What We're Looking ForSkills and Qualifications* BS or MS in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited college/university.* 10+ years of technical experience with at least 5 years in a managerial role.* Professional Engineering or Professional Geologist license for 8+ years, preferably in Georgia or South Carolina, with ability to achieve both licensures within six months following date of hire.* Proven marketing and business development skills.* Understanding of P&L responsibility and Financial Management.* Strong leadership and decision making skills.* Experience in leading and managing the engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.* Computer literate with prompt email management.* Timely communications skill.Who We AreECS Group of Companies (ECS) was founded in 1988 with the goal to raise the standards of professional engineering consulting.
