Job SummaryThe Engineering Change Coordinator's mission is to ensure the correct implementation of engineering changes to minimize the risk of quality problems with customers, while collaborating with the Manufacturing and Design teams to validate that the product meets specifications.Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)Validate and report the activities related to engineering changes and deviations from the process (30%)Receive, manage, and resolve Engineering Changes (30%)Work collaboratively with Engineering and Design Assist Departments (20%)Identify change dependencies and conflicts as required. Return detected deficiencies to the originator (10%)Maintain statistics of detected deficiencies by type and frequency. Provide activity reports as required (5%)Identify and execute improvements that will make the change and configuration management process more efficient, reliable, and cost effective (5%)Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesSkills and Minimum Experience RequiredEngineering Change Management Experience (minimum 3 years' experience working with Engineering teams)Proficient knowledge working in Windows environment and related software (Outlook, Office, etc.) Knowledge and understanding of Project and Risk Management Ability to learn new software and processes Ability to read and interpret drawings and diagrams Ability or willingness to learn how to analyze parts, assemblies, and production processes High capacity to work in a focused and methodical manner Enterprise Replenishment Process in Oracle or similar systems Preferred Experience3 to 5 years in Engineering Change Management Experience in a Manufacturing EnvironmentEducation (minimum education required)High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred EducationAssociates Degree TravelUp to 25%, Domestic and/or InternationalPhysical RequirementsLight work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg control requires exertion of forces greater than that of sedentary work and if the work sits most of the time, the job is considered light work.
