Job SummaryHolds accountability for overall success of engagements under purview.Staff and manage five to ten pods for a digital engineering engagement by providing guidance, management, and reporting for each pod based on anestablished operating model and governance plan.OrManage three to six Engineering Managers across one or more engagements, each of whom are directly leading multiple pods.Responsibilities

Ensure desired outcomes for the engagement are clearly defined and well understood by all parties.

Ensure outcomes are SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely).

Ensure Cognizant's role in achieving the desired outcomes is well understood and agreed upon by all parties.

Ensure engagement themes needed to realize the desired outcomes are identified, well understood, and agreed upon by all parties.

Ensure that all work taken on by PODs/teams is focused on, aligned with, and contributing to one or more of the engagement themes.

Discover and analyze the current-state client operating model for software delivery.

Establish an initial-state delivery operating model for the PODs/teams that is well-aligned with the client operating model.

Identify risks, impacts, and proposed mitigation actions for the initial state delivery operating model in terms of possible effect on quality, efficiency, and efficacy.

Rationalize the themes, desired outcomes, and expected timelines with the initial-state operating model and projected ability to continuously improve/mature the model to ensure they are realistic in the overall context.

Ensure delivery execution for each POD/team conforms to an established, agreed-upon, and continuously maturing operating model.Certifications RequiredCertified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Product Manager (CPM). #J-18808-Ljbffr
