Job Description:

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for engineering documentation and quality control? Astrodyne TDI is seeking an Engineering Documentation Specialist to join our innovative and supportive team. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure engineering processes, documentation, and quality initiatives are executed with precision.

What You'll Do:

* Map and Document Engineering Processes: Create detailed documentation for engineering processes, ensuring clarity and consistency.

* Execute Change Notices: Manage and implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) for technical drawings and specifications.

* Introduce New Products and Process Improvements: Support the introduction of new products and continuous process improvements.

* Quality Initiatives: Participate in quality initiatives, including RMA (Return Material Authorizations), corrective action reporting, and SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Requests) investigations.

* Data Gathering and Records Maintenance: Collect data and maintain accurate project records and documentation within the engineering department.

* Data Entry and Documentation Oversight: Enter data for documenting change and revision activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal and standardization requirements.

* Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborate with various departments, customers, and suppliers to address quality-related issues and ensure alignment with project goals.

* Training and Support: Provide guidance and training on methods, standardization, and legal requirements for new processes and procedures.

What You Bring:

* High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.

* 1-3 years of related experience. Technical experience in electrical or mechanical fields is a plus.

* Comprehensive knowledge of engineering drawings and change control procedures.

* Attention to detail in reviewing proposed changes and updated documentation.

* Experience with contractual requirements.

* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

* Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and under pressure as part of a team.

* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and ERP systems.
