Duties- Operate and instruct on the safe operation of engineering and/or construction equipment such as graders, skid steers, mini excavators, and tractors with varying attachments to perform cutting, moving, digging, grading, and trenching.
- Utilize equipment with masticator heads to complete vegetation treatment projects.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections on engineering equipment and/or moto vehicles.
- Coordinate the completion of major equipment and/or vehicle repairs and safety inspections.

Because of the location of some of the controls and attachments, the operators are frequently required to work in awkward or strained positions.Work Environment: Work is performed in all types of weather, often in an open driver's seat or platform, on hills, slopes, grades, rolling surfaces, and forests. The operators are exposed to injury due to the possibility of the equipment overturning. They are subject to noise, vibration, dust, dirt, and fumes from the motor and exhaust.
