A financial firm is looking for an Engineering Manager to join their team. This role is remote. Compensation: $160-$180kResponsibilities: Architect, design and develop large-scale distributed cloud solutions using Microsoft AzureProvide technical leadership and project management for every aspect of software development lifecycle including architectures, integration, governance, and quality assuranceManage globally distributed teams of engineers in areas such as task planning, execution, QA, and code reviewsWrite detailed technical and functional requirements and process flowchartsParticipate in solutions design with the team, product line architects and leadershipDesign databases, data models, and data pipelinesDevelop flexible, adaptable, modular and reusable cloud solution architectures designs in collaboration with respective application teamsDesign, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code, including automated testsIdentify areas of improvement, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issuesQualifications: Required3 years as an engineering manager leading a distributed team of engineers and scientists with varying skills7 years of experience as a Solution Architect and a full stack engineerExperience building large scale data intensive platforms and databasesExperience leading a globally distributed team in multiple time zonesExperience with .NET Core, C#, python, Azure SQL Server, PostgreSQLStrong database, SQL, ETL and data analysis skillsUnderstanding of Cloud native architecture principles and modern architecture techniques (e.g. event driven architectures, stream processing, event sourcing/CQRS, Event storming)Deep understanding of various Azure services and solutions - Kubernetes, Containers, PaaS, SaaS, SQL, APIM, Functions, Blob Storage, Event Grid, Key Vault, API management, Application Insights, etc.Experience with Serverless Microservices, Containers, and automatic API'sExperience with GraphQL, gRPC, and API design, development and security practicesEarly-stage startup experience and ability to work and execute in an agile and fast-moving environmentPreferredExperience building enterprise SaaS products; fintech/proptech knowledge additiveExperience building large scale graph databasesAzure Data lake and Data warehouse experience Experience with Data pipelines, data factory, and integrating with various third party data providers, servicesCosmos DB / Spark / Redis / ELK stack experience Experience with Automation, DataOps, Client Ops, DevOps, Infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelinesMachine learning, NLP, RPA, Automation experience24-02332#LI-JA1
