Job Description:
This role is responsible for the factory technical team (engineering, information systems, reliability) and the subject matter expert in a maintenance/technical field.The candidate will fill a critical role within the Site Leadership Team and report directly to the Plant Director. As a member of the Site Leadership Team, you will lead the PM (Productive Maintenance) Pillar, a team of 8-12 technicians, and build the capabilities of the site to drive factory performance. You will grow and develop talent to ensure continued talent development and engagement in a people focused environment.They are looking for a strong leader who utilizes sound people management, technical problem solving and project management skills to preserve and maintain the factory's infrastructure, utilities, and equipment.It requires adherence to global maintenance best practices, including continuous improvement and total productive maintenance (TPM). You must be able to provide technical solutions for plant issues along with managing the storeroom to achieve department objectives.You will manage both internal and external resources to support activities on the site. This position also actively participates and contributes to the success of area continuous improvement teams, factory operating system (FMOS) and underpins the site security, safety, and environmental programs.Continuous improvement is a critical aspect of this role. It will be accomplished through developing and maintaining a technical group that utilizes all continuous improvement analytical tools, such as RCA, PDCA, to increase factory rates and utilization.They need someone with a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems, experience with PLC and controls systems, and experience in a maintenance supervisory or managerial role, who also has experience in project management/engineering management.Some of your key responsibilities will be:- Lead a culture of Safety and Quality first- Ensures cross functional problem solving is happening to drive losses to zero- Site PM pillar lead and technical coach- Create and manage the yearly maintenance budget- Site leader for maintenance, engineering, and IT teams- Coach and mentor site associates to grow technical capability- Design, execute and manage capital projects- Be the site point of contact for regional and global engineering teamsBest-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to their in-house university.This is a Monday-Friday day shift role, but you will be the 24/7 point of contact for escalations needing the technical team.Base salary, 12% bonus.
