The Opportunity

The Engineering Manager for Water/Wastewater will oversee the execution of the engineering components for various traditional, design-build, and collaborative delivery projects. These include advanced treatment facilities, underground conveyance systems, and sustainable, carbon-neutral solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams on high-profile municipal water and wastewater projects.
  • Mentor engineering staff and foster professional growth.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and client correspondence.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution:

  • Prepare complex engineering deliverables for multiple projects.
  • Conduct research to provide recommendations for equipment and materials.
  • Manage data, perform engineering calculations, and oversee project schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate multiple discipline activities and serve as the responsible charge for projects.

Technical Expertise:

  • Provide technical leadership for water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Lead large, multidisciplinary teams to achieve project goals.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor staff.
  • Participate in hiring, performance evaluations, and team development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PE license.
  • Experience in engineering consulting and managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Expertise in wastewater treatment plant upgrades and expansions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 8 years of related work experience.
  • Ability to meet pre-employment requirements such as background checks and drug screening.
