The Engineering Manager will play a crucial role in supporting our client's manufacturing plant,0 by providing expert technical guidance and ensuring the seamless operation of our hydraulic cylinder solutions. You will be tasked with overseeing the engineering team and ensuring the integration of effective strategies that align with the company's vision and goals. This position involves leading a team, managing projects, and implementing improvements to enhance overall operational efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for estimating and overseeing projects to ensure accuracy and efficiency. You will need to understand manufacturing costs and work closely with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders to provide exceptional support and maintain strong relationships. Your duties will include analyzing workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to optimize manufacturing processes and achieve cost and throughput improvements. You will be expected to lead and mentor various levels of engineers and support personnel, including handling recruitment, training, and performance reviews. Regular team meetings will be essential to address project challenges and progress, while ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations. Your leadership will drive the team's success and alignment with the company's objectives.The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, with at least 3 years of progressive management experience. Strong communication skills and a proven ability to manage complex projects with minimal supervision are essential. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and experience in managing capital projects will be advantageous.
