We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our growing Business Systems engineering team. In this role, you will oversee a team of NetSuite developers, guiding them through hands-on mentorship, quality reviews, and process improvements. While your primary focus will be on coaching the team and driving engineering best practices, you will also participate in hands-on development as needed for critical projects or to address complex challenges. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to drive enhancements in our NetSuite platform, ensuring it scales effectively to meet business needs.What you'll do: Lead and mentor the NetSuite development team to ensure alignment with company goals, promote professional growth, and deliver on key initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Supply Chain, etc.) to enhance and maintain NetSuite functionalities, supporting business growth.Drive the technical direction for NetSuite customizations and integrations, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.Set goals for the engineering team and ensure successful execution through agile project management in Atlassian JiraOversee architecture and design decisions, guiding the team to follow best practices for NetSuite.Coordinate with external development partners when required, ensuring successful collaboration and solution delivery.Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the development process, driving continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.Conduct regular code reviews and foster knowledge sharing to maintain high engineering standards.Collaborate with the Director of Business Technology and other system leads on long-term strategy and architectural planning.Nice to Have:NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer certificationiPaaS (Workato preferred) experience or certificationKnowledge of US GAAP accounting standard and experience with SOX and other compliance frameworksSuiteCommerce Advanced (SCA) experienceProven experience in technical management within NetSuite consulting or at a hyper-growth organization using NetSuiteRequirementsWe would love to have you on our team if you have:6+ years of NetSuite development experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or management roleProven experience managing a development team in an Agile environment, driving both delivery and team growthBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent on-the-job experienceDeep expertise in NetSuite core processes (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay) and customization/integration options, including API and iPaaS platforms (e.g., Workato)Experience managing cross-functional projects, with a focus on scalable and sustainable technical solutionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levelsStrong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset, able to handle multiple priorities effectivelyAbility to work across global operation time zonesBenefitsAt Oura, we care about you and your well-being.
