A leader in sustainable waste solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineering Program Manager to join their headquarters in New Jersey. This role offers a fully remote option with travel to the site. As an Engineering Program Manager specializing in Electrical Engineering, you'll report to the Director of Electrical Engineering and work closely with various stakeholders. This role involves managing electrical engineering projects, providing subject matter expertise, and driving technical standardization. Key Responsibilities: Electrical Design:
- Develop and review electrical system design documents (e.g., diagrams, schematics).
- Oversee scope development for electrical design firms and coordinate with contractors.
- Manage project budgets and schedules, serving as technical lead for smaller capital programs.
Engineering Standards:
- Apply engineering techniques and update design standards to align with best practices and regulations.
- Serve as the guardian of key electrical design standards.
Commissioning/Startup:
- Support project managers with design and commissioning for construction projects.
Troubleshooting:
- Provide troubleshooting support for electrical issues and develop solutions for root cause analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 10+ years in electrical engineering, including high, medium, and low voltage systems. Proficiency in system design, equipment testing, and start-up problem resolution.
- Professional Engineer license required.
- Experience with CAD/AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM Powertools, SEL relays; strong communication, data analysis, and technical report writing skills.
- Approximately 20% travel to various facilities.
