Job Title: Engineering Technician Associate
Job Summary:
Assist in the design, construction, and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems. Projects include creating designs for residential, commercial, and small industrial power facilities, as well as improving and relocating existing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Perform field surveys, calculations, and prepare designs for distribution projects.
- Provide technical field support, including making design changes when needed.
- Ensure designs follow safety codes and company policies.
- Support emergency power restoration efforts.
- Handle internal and external project inquiries.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Math, or Physics. (In lieu of degree: Associate's Degree and 2 years of relevant experience).
- Valid drivers license.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of electrical design and site plans.
- Knowledge of safety protocols.
- Strong math and computer skills (ArcFM Designer, SAP, MS Office).
- Good communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
