Responsibilities
Inspect and test electronic components based on verbal or written instructions, diagrams, and specifications.
Record data with a high level of accuracy for each product.
Document defects in new products and complete RMA teardown reports for field returns.
Conduct Environmental Stress Screening using Vibration and Thermal Chambers.
Scan and fill out travelers for each job performed accurately.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Skills
Hands-on experience in prototyping, soldering SMT and through-hole components, and repairing and troubleshooting PCB assemblies
Assemble test tools and interpret electrical schematics to interconnect all electrical parts effectively.
In-depth understanding of electronics principles and design.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Capability to follow complex directions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
Associate degree in Electronics required; bachelors degree preferred.
Electronic Technician certification or equivalent certification/licensure required
