Our client is looking for an Engineering Technician in Groton, Connecticut.General responsibilities:- Assembly and testing of custom industrial equipment- Field service support for assembly, start up, and testing of new equipment- Field service maintenance and repair of existing equipment- Assisting Production group with product selection, procurement, testing and inspectionsDesired skill sets:- Mechanically inclined and comfortable with hands on work within a shop setting performing mechanical assembly and metal working tasks- Basic knowledge of HVAC or Fluid systems- Basic knowledge of electronics and electrical wiring- Strong computer skills with general knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets/databases, and scheduling software preferred- Strong troubleshooting skills and capable of working independently- Strong communication skills and able to work collaboratively within a team environment- Willingness to learn new skillsUp to $4k profit sharing bonus, 401k w/matching, medical, dental, vision, PTO.
