Looking For:
• Reside within an hour of Oklahoma City
• Be willing to travel overnight as needed
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions (cold and heat)
• Work a 4-day, 10-hour schedule (4/10s)
* Associate's Degree within Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, similar with suffice) from an ABET accredited university preferred, High School diploma required
* 0-3 years of experience within design, drafting, GIS, similar experience within telecom, fiber, networking, engineering, construction, utilities, etc. * Valid drivers license
Job Description:
We are currently searching for Engineering Technologists who can initially work in the field for a few months before transitioning into office roles once the office is operational. The Engineers will be assigned to a project that requires utility pole design mapping. They will be given survey packets of the poles they are mapping. These surveys were collected by the people out in the field. With the survey packets they will know the geographic location of the poles and the different assets (wires, boxes, etc.) attached to each pole. They will use all this information to digitally create the design distribution map.
