Successful candidates will teach courses using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program; maintain records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluate level of achievement, and assign grades for the program. Course work may include:- Introduction to Composition- English Composition- American Literature- Communications- English Literature- World Literature- 20th and 21st Century Literature The English Adjunct role is a part-time, non-benefited employment role. Successful candidates will be required to teach face-to-face instruction at one of our four community campuses (Anderson, Easley, Pendleton, or Oconee). The Spring 2025 Semester begins on January 2nd. Minimum and Additional Requirements Masters' degree with 18 graduate hours in English. Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience in a community college; successful experience using a variety of active and collaborative learning strategies; experience implementing innovative assessments to measure student learning; and a demonstrated track record showing regular professional development around their teaching and the discipline.
