English Teacher Job DescriptionThe ESL Teacher provide in-person English as a Second Language instruction to adult students. This role requires a dynamic individual who is passionate about teaching and can effectively tailor lessons to meet the student's specific needs. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Education Coordinator and the C.A.F.E Program Manager to develop a structured and engaging curriculum. Responsibilities:
- Deliver group ESL instruction to an adults Spanish Speaking learners, focusing on improving their English proficiency.
- Collaborate with the Education Coordinator to create a structured lesson plan that aligns with the student's learning goals.
- Utilize provided materials and incorporate additional resources to make lessons engaging and effective.
- Monitor and assess the student's progress, providing regular feedback to both the student and the Education Coordinator.
- Adjust teaching methods and materials based on the students' evolving needs and learning style.
- This is a contract position.
Requierments.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in ESL tutoring or teaching, especially with an adult population,
- Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English) is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Passionate about helping students achieve their language learning goals.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Available to work a flexible schedule during the afternoons/evenings.
- Available to teach in different Ser Familia's locations within Clayton, Cobb and Gwinnett counties.
