Responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Credentialing background; verify Dental License, Specialty, DEA certificate, Education, National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB), OIG, knowledge of Attestation
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft Word
- Email etiquette (writing informal notices and requested information from our providers (Dr's) )
- Telephone etiquette
- Fax/scan
- Work under minimal supervision/self-motivated
- Ability to multi-task
- Medical terminology (Dr. Specialties)
- Fast paced environment (ability to meet deadlines)
- Knowledge of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) compliance
- NPI Registry (NPPES (National Plan & Provider Enumeration System)
