Department Office of Admissions Responsibilities The Office of Admissions is a unit within the Division of Enrollment Management, which is comprised of four distinct units: Office of Admissions , Office of the University Registrar , Office of Financial Aid , and Technology Operations. Enrollment Management's integrated services provide distinctive support throughout the student's development and progression in their academic experience - from recruitment through commencement. Through collaboration, communication, and commitment, all units within Enrollment Management achieve the highest level of student-centered service to current and prospective students and families and to campus partners across the University. This position assists with the planning and coordination of the Records Audits and Analysis section for the Office of the University Registrar. Coordinates the transfer and test credit posting, proofing, and evaluation functions for incoming and current, degree-seeking undergraduate and graduate students. Evaluates official transient transcripts and score reports of current students to determine transferability of credit from other institutions to FSU. This includes checking the accreditation status and calendar of the institution, reviewing course descriptions and test credit equivalencies, determining courses of special nature, and identifying applicable credit on the transcripts and score reports. Replies to inquiries and communicates (via telephone, email, and in person) with students, parents, deans, department chairpersons, advisors, and other institutions concerning the posting of transfer credit, test credit, GPA's, academic standing, and errors in students' academic records. Serves as a backup liaison between the Office of Admissions, Division of Undergraduate Studies, mapping coordinators, and academic departments. Responsible for auditing and updating student academic records, by system reports and departmental requests. Updates include changes made to transfer credit, test credit, FSU credit, career totals, academic standing, and transcript notes. Assists in correcting data conversion errors that affect student academic records. Assists in developing policies and procedures within the section. Assists in the management and training of the Records Audits and Analysis section's data entry staff. Assists various sections within the Registrar's Office during peak times in support of the goals of the Division of Enrollment Management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree and one year of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and five years of experience. (Note: a combination of post high school education and experience equal to five years.) Preferred Qualifications
