Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an experienced Recruitment Specialist for the San Jose campus of a dynamic San Diego-based university, providing accredited undergraduate and graduate programs with a practical, industry-focused approach. Thisis an exciting direct hire and onsite opportunity. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides consultation, guidance, general advisement, and retention services for prospective and current students.
- Performs student communication utilizing diverse media such as phone, email, and social media platforms.
- Serves as the point of contact for internal coordination of recruitment and enrollment management goals utilizing specific knowledge gained of admissions and registration criteria.
- Assists the team in developing and maintaining partnerships between the university, alumni networks, faculty, community partners, and other identified groups related to the student population and/or online education.
- Assists with outreach and retention activities designed to attract, retain, and serve students; supports activity logistics, which may include compiling materials and participating in marketing efforts.
- Assists with the development, coordination and delivery of outreach programs, marketing strategies, tabling, presentations, orientations, workshops and related recruitment efforts.
- Represents the university to organizations interested in online degree programs.
- Prepares reports and proposals regarding recruitment and outreach activities and responds to inquiries from students.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 3 years of experience in higher education recruitment, marketing, admissions, or customer service roles.
- Experience in guiding students through the application and enrollment process is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, social media, and digital marketing tools.
- Event planning and project management.
COMPENSATION The annual salary range for this position is $65,000-80,000, depending on experience. In addition to an annual salary there is also PTO, sick time, and paid holidays.
