Job Description:

Title: Communications Analyst (Benefits and Enrollment Analyst)

Location: Morris Plains, NJ 07950

Duration: 7 Months

The consultant Communications Analyst/Proofreader will function independently and with other members of the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan (M3P) Operational Team to ensure all member communication content meets CMS requirements, client requirements, and client requirements prior to delivery to members.

Key Requirements:

  • Healthcare experience: Helpful, especially with healthcare insurance, enrollment, and benefits. Familiarity with CMS regulations is a plus.
  • Relocation/Remote Work: No preference, but candidates must be local for occasional in-office helpdesk needs.

Day-to-Day:

  • Managing guidelines, intake, proofreading, and editing.
  • Ensuring proper approvals.
  • Learn and apply understanding of plan design elements to member materials and apply that knowledge to proofreading jobs.
  • Proofread electronically a high volume of member-facing materials relating to Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage according to specified instructions (e.g., confirm correct verbiage, potential client logo usage, plan design and other elements).
  • Proofread against backup for accuracy and compliance with CMS and client requirements
  • Utilize Microsoft Word track changes and/or Adobe Acrobat commenting, and check for grammar

Education & Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of communications proofreading and/or like experience.
  • Experience in handling changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum of intermediate-level Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat skills and ability to work with a variety of web-based tools.
  • Solid understanding of the English language.
  • Familiarity with Medicare is beneficial.
