One Data Streaming Platform.Data Connects Us.About the Role:As a member of the Confluent Sales Team, the Enterprise Account Executive, Digital Native is responsible for selling Confluent solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises. We expect you to use your prospecting, sales, negotiation, and leadership skills to effectively sell Confluent offerings to leading companies to meet and exceed your quarterly sales target. You must possess a hunter/closer mentality with a proven track record of success within a value-driven sales model.What You Will Do:Responsible for driving revenue growth for large, diverse, complex territoriesProactively prospect, identify, qualify, develop, and close a sales pipelineOwn the development, presentation, and sales of a value propositionAbility to understand and sell to or through the partner ecosystemPartner with Solutions Engineers & Professional Services to ensure customer successOwn the entire sales process, and collaborate with team members in business development, customer success, and supportBecome a subject matter expert on all Confluent offerings and competitive landscapePresent to C-levels (as required) the entire suite of product applications to negotiate and close dealsCreate and nurture customer relationships, opportunities, and partners that lead to growth opportunitiesTravels to customer sites to identify/develop sales opportunities when requiredWhat You Will Bring:5+ years of experience in quota-carrying sales roles in a competitive marketPrior experience in Big Data, Consumption, Cloud, SaaS, Open Source, or Enterprise IT SolutionsPrevious sales methodology training (i.e. MEDDPICC, Challenger, etc.)Previous experience in leading, driving, and executing a strategic sales strategy and driving revenue growthConsistent track record of success and history of overachieving and hitting quota attainmentExceptional communication skills - written and oral including outstanding presentation skillsExceptional time management skillsHigh integrity, intelligence, self-driven, and team playerHighly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skillsOpen to Travel to customer locations as neededBS/BA degree or equivalent preferredCome As You AreAt Confluent, equality is a core tenet of our culture. This position has an annual estimated salary of $109,100 - $128,250, a competitive equity package and is also eligible for additional commission and/or bonus pay.
