In this key role, you'll develop and maintain strategic relationships with State, Local, and Education (SLED) accounts, expanding MongoDB's footprint.Key Responsibilities
- Act as the leader and CEO of your assigned territory, developing strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Establish and nurture effective relationships that lead to growth opportunities, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships with CIOs, Directors, Managers, Developers, and Database Administrators.
- Work closely with Solutions Architects to ensure successful client engagements and outcomes.
- Develop and execute plans to find, develop, and maintain SLED accounts, expanding MongoDB's presence.
- Work closely with ecosystem partner sales and channel partners to enhance deal sizes.
- Participate in comprehensive sales enablement training to continuously enhance your skills and effectiveness.What You Bring To The Table
- 3+ years of field quota-carrying experience in a fast-paced and competitive market, with a focus on closing net new logos within SLED.
- Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to articulate the business value of complex enterprise technology.
- Skilled in building business champions and engaging with senior-level stakeholders.
- Fluent in English.
- Must reside within the assigned territory.
- Driven, competitive, and possess a strong desire to succeed.
- Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g., BANT, MEDDPICC, SPIN, Challenger Sales).
- Familiarity with databases, developers, applications, and open-source technology.
