SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

Blackwatch International is seeking an Enterprise Architect in support of our Federal Agency client in Arlington, VA. The Enterprise Architect will serve as the CIO Information Technology (IT) expert responsible for the supervision of the client's Cloud computing system. This involves working on cloud application designs, cloud approval plans, and systems required to manage cloud storage.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct technical analysis to develop and maintain IT Enterprise views and other network architecture documents as required.
• Research, design, develop and maintain optimum integrated IT and cybersecurity architectures.
• Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.
• Respond to technical issues in a timely manner.
• Manage changes and updates to Commercial Cloud Service Provider (CCSP) architecture.
• Ensure that the IT Enterprise remains maintainable but is also both flexible and adaptable to changes in technology standards (both Government and industry) and supports the research, science, and technology requirements of the client.
• Provide Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
• Responsible for the accuracy and currency of all network and architecture diagrams.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Secret Clearance or Current Interim Secret Clearance
• Favorably adjudicated National Agency Check with Law and Credit.
• U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor's degree in Enterprise Architecture, Computer Science, or other Information Technology field.
• Ten (10) years of overall experience in architecture design.
• Three (3) years of experience in software engineering and IT architecture design and implementation.
• Five (5) years of experience of performing analysis and producing documentation revealing the interdependencies between process, technologies, applications, and data.
• Two (2) years' experience developing and maintaining System and Enterprise Architecture (EA) views and supporting artifacts in support of DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF).
• Experience in the principles and practices of Cloud architectures.
• Experience architecting solutions using Amazon Web Services.

Required Certifications:

• DOD Information Assurance Workforce (IAWF) DoD 8570 IASAE Level II.
• Enterprise Architecture Certification.
