Position: Enterprise Business Analyst

Location: New York, United States

About this Role:

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Healthcare Senior Enterprise Business Analyst with expertise in healthcare payer operations to join our team. This role is key for collaborating across internal and external stakeholders to analyze, define, and manage requirements for launching innovative products and services in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business and solution owners to define and document product and service requirements, write user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and manage UAT.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of functional capabilities across product lines and apply agile methods to analyze, define, and trace requirements.
• Drive consensus on scope, design, and implementation decisions with stakeholders and product teams.
• Provide impact analysis on changes, develop requirements management for delivery schedules, and ensure high standards for product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare specifications for product integration and manage third-party vendor implementation.

Essential Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience; BA Certifications or PMP is a plus.

• Client-facing skills: Strong acumen in leading requirements sessions within the healthcare payer industry.
• Experience: 6-7 years as a Business Analyst, specializing in healthcare payer functions (Claims, Enrollment, Eligibility, Benefit Administration, Billing, Member/Provider services).
• Technical proficiency: Skilled in creating high-level requirements, use cases, business and functional specifications, test strategies, and traceability matrices.
• Problem-solving: Methodical in analyzing problems and providing prompt resolutions.
• Tools: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, JIRA, and BA/MS Project tools.

Preferred Experience:

• Recent experience with Payer implementations for large clients.
• Familiarity with TPA/Payer operations (PBM experience is an added benefit).
• Operational insight and flexibility in problem-solving approaches.
