Enterprise Data Services AnalystBCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Data Services Analystfor an opportunity at Eagan,MN Location!Position Title: Enterprise Data Services AnalystLocation: Eagan, MNAnticipated Start Date: 12/30/2024Please note this is the target date and it is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 6+ MonthsJob Type: Full Time (>=40 HRS WEEKLY) - CONTRACT - HybridPay Range: $50/hr - $60/hr Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).Key responsibilities:* Formulate and define processes with good understanding of business requirements * Consider business impact, value of data and information management processes * Leverage data domain experience and best practices to bring creative solutions to complex problems * Contribute to process improvements during all phases of the effort * Develop solutions to variety of problems with limited to moderate scope and complexity following established policies and procedures * Investigate and resolve data incidents in a timely manner. * Monitor and improve data quality by initiating corrective actions identified through performing root cause analysis. * Ensure adherence to data policies and processes and their continued enforcement to include areas such as workflow for data ingestion, data quality, master data and data life cycle management. * Identify areas where data can be used to improve business activities, defining business users' requirements. * Work closely with Data Engineers to create and maintain cross system interrelationship design and documentation * Facilitate target system data migration requirements gathering from process areas and data governance. * Collaborate with business and technical subject matter experts to identify, analyze and document data migration transformation rules from legacy source systems. * Support data cleansing rules for legacy source systems as part of data migration efforts. * Facilitate, support and train business subject matter experts on data migration validation procedures to meet target system design. Basic Qualifications: (required) * Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Information Systems or related field * 2+ years of relevant work experience to include one or more of the following: o Knowledge of data governance or data management practices o Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Access, Visio, PowerPoint and Outlook) and SQL o Strong analytic skills with attention to detail providing front-end data analysis, requirements gathering, design, testing, documentation implementation, and support of assigned data projects Preferred Qualifications: (desired) * Direct experience with SAP in a data management or related role * Experience leading continuous improvement projects and tasks * Knowledge of data governance or data management practices * Understanding of dimensional modeling and data vault 2.0 modeling * Technical knowledge and domain expertise including project management techniques * Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written * Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously * Ability to work independently * Exposure to Microsoft Power BI and SnowflakeBenefits:BCforward offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to major medical, HSA, dental, vision, employer-provided group life, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401k.Keywords:[KEYWORDS FOR SEO OPTIMIZATION]About BCforward:Founded in 1998 on the idea that industry leaders needed a professional service, and workforce management expert, to fuel the development and execution of core business and technology strategies, BCforward is a Black-owned firm providing unique solutions supporting value capture and digital product delivery needs for organizations around the world.
