Our client in the technology industry is seeking an Enterprise Networking Consultant to join their team. As an Enterprise Networking Consultant, you will be part of the Professional Services team supporting various agencies. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills which will align successfully in the organization.   • Assess risks, foresee potential problems and proactively collaborate and spearhead solutions with customers in Routing/Switching and Data Center.
  • Collaborate on a variety of projects that have a real impact on our customers' mission-critical public service goals.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex customer problems in support of critical issues.
  • Continuously learn and strengthen technical skills for relevant technical domain and adjacent technologies.
What's Needed?
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent plus 8 - 10 years relevant experience in Enterprise Networking.
  • A deep understanding of key technologies and protocols in Enterprise Networking, and data center environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of designing and optimizing complex network solutions.
  • Expertise with Cisco software features and functionality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Enterprise Networking, in depth knowledge in: Route/Switch advanced knowledge and experience with the following areas: Cisco Routing & Switching Platforms, Datacenter Switching Platforms, IP Routing, Internetworking, MPLS, LAN Switching, Multicast, Route Redistribution.
  • Require knowledge of platforms includes Nexus 7k, 9k, 2k and Cat9K platforms.
  • Must be proficient in OSPF, BGP, MPLS and switching. Additional experience in security is a plus.
  • Knowledge/experience with features, examples include: MPLS (L2/L3 VPN/VRFLite) and MPLS-TE, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, EIGRP, inter-as, QoS, Ipv6, IP SLAs, RPVST+, MST, PIM, DMVPN, GETVPN, NetFlow, PfR.
  • Programming skills such as Ansible, Python, AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) is a plus.
