Our more than 4000 employees in over 15 countries work hard every day knowing that what they do matters!Your Role in that Mission:As a member of Global Client Services, you are part of One Global Team: Empowered to Act, Make Connections and Get Results for our customers and their patients.The Enterprise Project Manager III independently leads a portfolio of moderate to strategic or complex client projects. They are responsible for all areas of project planning, budgeting, progress monitoring and client communication. Creative problem solving and cross-functional collaboration enable successful project delivery in this role. This individual works with an eye towards process efficiency and client strategy, considering new possibilities for clients and the business alike including initial client discussions, development of project requirements, documentation and management of all activities from study set up to completion.Remote US positionKey Responsibilities:Leads moderate to large, complex project portfolio (number of projects depends on client needs and complexity of projects), planning and delivering at all stages in coordination with global PM team; guides the client through the process end-to-end. May handle portfolio of multiple projects for certain clients.Key contributor within the team who looks to improve processes, tools, and resources for organization.Works with client to outline and maintain project timeline and deliverables.Develops and maintains client relationship throughout project and ensures addresses any concerns. Acts as single point of escalation throughout entirety of client project within clinical trials.Coordinates vital internal and external business activities to achieve project goals. Works with cross-functional project teams to ensure all project activities are accurately planned and delivered.Measure project performance and progress using appropriate tools and techniques. Identifies areas of concern and performs corrective actions which are communicated to all collaborators.Demonstrates advanced technical capabilities, implementation of standard methodologies, and strong expertise in site processes, industry requirements, problem solving, etc.Supports strategic development of the project management function, including potential for new or expanded business, global initiatives, site processes, etc.Manages Scope Change and PO tracking.As Demonstrated By:Project ManagementIndependently leads several medium size and/or complex active projects (number of projects depends on client needs and complexity of projects)Structures project(s) in line with client strategy, inclusive of identifying needs, establishing goals, defining resources requirements and tracking performance. Skilled at identifying gaps and prioritizing improvement opportunities.Proactively diagnoses project challenges, developing solutions and/or overcoming undesirable situations with minimal guidance and may mentor other team members on project resolution.Effectively defines, tracks, and manages budgets and revisions to reflect scope changes and established commitments.Understands customer contract terms & conditions and skilled in negotiation techniquesClient Relationship ManagementPerforms and interprets comprehensive need analyses which reflect an understanding of the customer's target market and value proposition.Knowledgeable of Thermo Fisher's solutions portfolio and communicates company's value proposition in relation to the competition.Technical KnowledgeIndependently leverages and interprets data to ensure successful project results and customer satisfaction.Leads projects efficiently in different systems and maintains accountability for individual and team outcomesAdvances the efficiency and effectiveness of work processes, procedures, and outputs.Project Management LeadershipSeeks mentorship and guidance to drive personal development and further strengthen project management.Ensures that all communications are clear, focused, and based on a solid understanding of needs using the most appropriate medium.Works with others to quickly resolve or collaborate on solutions to problems.
