AccountantSeeking Full-time, Entry Level Accountant, 40 hours per week for Clayton Capital Partners, Inc. (CCP), a leading middle market Investment Banking firm located in St. Louis and Cathedral Properties, owner of local residential and commercial real estate. Training and work will be performed in a professional office environment in our Clayton office.
The position will ultimately have the following responsibilities:1. Enter invoices into accounting systems2. Process payroll for hourly workers3. Preparation of Financial Statement exhibits based on client data4. Analysis of client accounting information5. Perform summary write-ups of client documents6. Management of virtual data room7. Process incoming clients8. Assist accounting department and CFO with other tasks and special projects on an as needed basis
The ideal candidate has:1. Bachelor's degree in financial related field with significant accounting focus2. Extremely high attention to detail3. Microsoft office experience required – high level of excel proficiency4. Strong and thorough understanding of accounting principles along with high desire to gain practical experience5. Strong written and oral communication skills, including ability to dialog with senior management, senior partners, and communicate effectively with the entire team6. Entrepreneurial skill set with the desire/ability to succeed as a team player7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines8. Strong ethics and values9. Superior problem solving and analytical skills
