Entry Level Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative assistance to residents, and staff members. Answering telephone calls promptly and directing phone calls to the appropriate individual or department. Providing administrative support for special projects to department directors. Perform secretarial and administrative duties as required to support the administrative functions of all departments. Maintain files for the administrative office. Receive, sort and distribute mail. Assists residents at the business office as required. Operates office equipment such as copier, and computer. Greets visitors and directs to the appropriate department or resident room. Gives direction/information to visitors, guests, residents. Maintains a good relationship with residents' families and the public. Completes and submits Medicaid billing twice per month. Prepares and completes Long Term Care Insurance Paperwork. Completes and submits monthly Medicare paperwork with required signatures as needed. Submitting the completed paperwork and supporting documentation to the corporate office monthly. Complete and distribute monthly Resident Billing statements. Scan accounts payable weekly to the corporate office. Order supplies as needed monitoring levels of supplies. Has the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines which attention to detail. Work performed must be in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the Community and as may be required by the department director or supervisor to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained. Reflects the value that the resident comes first. This employee values the Community as the residents' home and works to create attributes of home and models person centered care.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and/or TRAINING:- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in an administrative support role in long term care or related industry. (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point
