**Entry Level Assembler**
18375 Olympic Ave S, Tukwila, WA 98188, USA Req #72 Monday, January 31, 2022 Rainier Industries, the Northwest leader in Display, Shade, and Shelter solutions is looking for Shade Assemblers to support our Shade team.
The assembler is responsible for the assembly of retractable motorized screens and awnings. Assemblers build sub-assemblies and final assemblies having close tolerances and strict inspections. This is an entry level position. If you have a strong work ethic and work well in a team-orientated environment Rainier will provide training for all aspects of the job.

**Minimum Qualifications/Experience:**
* Must be at least 18 years of age.
* Experience in using tools (e.g., clamps) and machines (e.g., presses).
* Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn to use hand and pneumatic/vibratory tools.
* Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed build paperwork and engineering drawings.
* Ability to take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components.
* Ability to recognize number and letter identification sequences.
* Ability to stand and walk for 10-hour periods.
* Good understanding of quality control principles.
* Good communication skills (verbal and written).
**Compensation:**
This is an hourly position eligible for over time. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour.

**Work Schedule:**
