The hourly rate for this position is $17.94/hour starting rate plus 5% shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Build devices per drawing, routing, and work instructionsPerform quality checks consistent with the Inspection and control plans.Inventory/replenish parts to assembly stations. Use the Kanban system to assure availability of partsRead orders and drawings to determine assembly procedures such as component types and configuration, mounting locations and clearances required.Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly manner and maintain 5S in the areaPosition Criteria:Work with various groups of employees in team-based environment, cross train on all assembly lines and help train new employees.Work overtime as necessary.Lift 40 pounds repeatedly and able to safely team lift items exceeding that weight and able to stand/walk for a working shiftCross-train new and current employees on all assembly linesPerform other duties, as assigned by supervisorWorking knowledge of assembly machinery and toolsAbility to lift 40 pounds or less, repeatedlyAbility to stand and walk throughout working shiftAbility to work overtime as neededAdditional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesQualifications:Basic Qualifications:Must have a High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institutionNo relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of (enter location) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Must not be on a written or a final written warningEmployees can apply and be awarded a new role but must have a minimum of 6 months service time in their current role before moving to the new rolePreferred Qualifications:Previous Assembly experience in a manufacturing settingBeen in current position for at least 6 months
