**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Attorney with a strong interest in criminal/DUI defense. This position offers an opportunity to handle a diverse caseload and grow professionally within a supportive and dynamic legal environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Represent clients in criminal cases from pre-trial through resolution.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
- Attend court hearings, trials, and client meetings.
- Develop case strategies and provide legal counsel to clients.
- Maintain client communication and relationships
- Keep accurate case files and adhere to deadlines.
**Qualifications:**
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- 1-3 years of experience in prosecution or criminal defense or related legal practice (ASA or PD strongly preferred).
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to client advocacy and ethical legal practice.
- Spanish speaking a plus
