Ultimate Staffing is hiring an entry level electrical engineer with max two years experience. The company is growing so there is room for advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Organize design/development of product and packaging specifications
- Manage all aspects of Prime's Product Specifications
- Check the items manufactured by Prime's various vendors
- Maintain knowledge of current regional, national, and international requirements and standards (UL, ETL, etc.)
- Coordinate between Marketing, Purchasing, Quality, and Manufacturing
- Develop product usage instructions and documentation
- Maintain engineering and quality documentation, procedures, drawings, and specifications
- Supervise Design Drafters and other Engineering personnel
- Work conjunction with quality control to ensure products are made in accordance with the specifications and to the safety standards that apply
- Trouble-shoot and diagnose technical problems
- Respond to technical support inquiries
Requirements:
- Minimum four-year college degree in ME, EE, or other engineering disciplines
- Experience with consumer, OEM, and/or industrial wire and cable products
- Experience with UL, CSA, and other approval agencies requirements
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams
- 2 years minimum experience with 2-D & 3-D CAD programs
- SolidWorks experience a plus
- 2 years minimum experience with product and packaging design
- 3 years minimum supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Detail oriented team-player
- Capable of successfully working on multiple projects concurrently while adhering to deadlines and schedules.
