Position Summary:

As a Junior Field Validation & Technical Engineer, you'll support our Technical Acceptance (TA) and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, acting as the essential bridge between our technical and sales teams. This entry-level role is perfect for a tech-savvy professional eager to learn product positioning in wireless devices, network integration, and competitive analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support & TA Process: Collaborate with sales and R&D to support technical requirements, verify bugs, and validate features, ensuring timely TA completion.
  • Field Testing & Product Validation: Conduct device testing, log issues, and validate technical solutions per U.S. carrier standards for TA.
  • Customer Interface & R&D Liaison: Provide on-site customer support, troubleshoot and replicate reported issues, and escalate verified concerns to R&D.
  • Product Marketing & Documentation: Draft user guides, quick start guides, and FAQ documents to support product launches and ensure market readiness.
  • Data & Device Insights: Gather and analyze feedback from customer service and field tests to support engineering improvements and low-maintenance product launches.

Major Functions & KPIs:

  • Achieve on-time TA and NPI targets.
  • Improve device reliability and reduce return rates.
  • Act as the interface between sales, customer support, and technical teams, ensuring seamless communication and support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Familiarity with routers, TCP/IP networks, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, iOS, Android).
  • Basic coding skills and experience with technical troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of wireless network protocols (4G/5G) and carrier acceptance processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proactive, adaptable approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with online collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams).
  • Ability to travel up to 50% and engage in client-facing environments.
